Established in 1971 in Abingdon, Virginia, Holston Mountain Artisans preserves and promotes the finest traditional and contemporary arts and crafts of our Appalachian region.
Our non-profit, member-owned cooperative is comprised of over 100 talented artisans living primarily in Southwest Virginia and Upper East Tennessee. We place an emphasis on helping individuals who need a sales outlet for their handwork and providing educational opportunities that will forever preserve our creative heritage.
In addition to our craft shop, we provide space for artisans to gather and offer classes, ensuring that these traditions will continue.
